Healthy Travel Wales

Making healthy travel easier

More of the same isn't an option.
We need to urgently change how we move around. Our reliance on the car for regular transport has contributed to sedentary lifestyles, air pollution, social isolation, and the climate emergency.
To tackle this, organisations in Wales are showing their commitment to healthier and more sustainable forms of transport, by publicly signing a Healthy Travel Charter. Each Charter contains a series of commitments the organisation will make over 3 years to support their staff and visitors to walk and cycle more, take public transport, and switch to electric vehicles.
